Ok, so: I got my FCR software and USB to OBD2 cable working and had to play with it today. My CEL has been on for 2500 miles or so, the PCV system has been replaced, along with the EVAP/purge valve. All other problems are gone, and my ScanGuage actually says the car's OBD emissions ready. But the CEL still comes on about 20 seconds after I start the car. So I plug in my laptop and run FCR, and the only code reported is one from the transmission (AW50-42) called 'unknown code 17'. That helps, eh? The car runs and drives great, but a returning light isn't exactly good news.

I've also seen just the cables for sale there. FYI, the software is just an FCR demo, which you can get free, and I'm sure there's a crack out there somewhere.
