A terrible follow up from what was a decent first season. The dialogue between characters was jarring with many eye rolling moments. The plot lacks any depth and most of the characters make completely irrational decisions. The characters also lack any type of historical connection unlike what the first season presented (outside of the occasional mention) and none of their goals are known. Sabre, the only heroic spirit from the first season to play much of a part in this season, lacks the tenacity which she previously possessed and is now a submissive 'seen but not heard' character. One of the most disappointing aspects of this season was that there was no conclusion, the last episode simply sets up the next season. This feels like the producers had too much money, and no enough time/decent script.
